Job Description Latham Internal Medicine is hiring a full-time Patient Support Technician. This position will perform a variety of secretarial duties and assist physicians with patient care. \n Hours are Monday-Friday 8-5 \n The main responsibilities of the Patient Support Technician are answering phones, completing prior authorizations, referrals and sending tasks to the nursing staff. \n Other responsibilities include: \n \n Greet patients in friendly and professional manner and complete check-in/check-out process. \n Process incoming telephone calls/messages based on office policy and procedure. \n Schedule appointments for patients, following office protocols for access to care. \n Schedule all follow up appointments as directed by the providers or as indicated on encounter forms. \n Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider. \n Prepare charts for future appointments by following office policy and procedure. \n Maintain timely patient flow. \n \n \n If you are interested in this opportunity and have the desired qualifications, please Apply Now! \n Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour \n CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth.
