Find your calling at Mercy! Registered Nurse – Cardiac/Respiratory Unit Join our fast-paced, high-energy team caring for higher acuity cardiac and respiratory patients. This 25-bed unit is an excellent starting point for nurses with long-term goals in ICU or ER settings. Position Details: SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE 10,000 Sign On Bonus for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience NO CONTRACT Qualifications: Education : Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure : Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period. Must have ACLS and BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire. Key Responsibilities: Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients. Evaluate care provided by other direct caregivers. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards. Unit Details: Patient Population: Higher acuity cardiac and respiratory Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 4:1 or 5:1 UAP-to-Patient Ratio: 9:1 Unit Size: 32 beds Environment: Fast-paced, high-energy; ideal for nurses pursuing ICU or ER careers Why Mercy?
