Programin theTulsametro area that will take the lead in providing
help, healing, and hope to the surrounding community and those
served through our Pearls Hope transitional living program If
you're driven by purpose, fueled by compassion, and committed to
supporting and motivating program participants to bring about
stability and reunification to single moms, and stabilizing
families this is your moment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES Help the participant work through challenges that
prevent the family from obtaining housing, education,
employment/income and transportation barriers. Conduct participant
orientation regarding community and campus programs, expectations,
responsibilities, and other pertinent information. Assist
participants in developing an Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
Conduct quarterly reviews with participants to discuss progress
with ISPs. Address challenges and provide guidance. Develop
strategic partnerships within the community to bring services and
support that will assist participants in achieving their goals
Facilitate referrals to community resources and coordinate with
service providers. Coordinate educational/training opportunities
that address the needs and interests expressed by participants to
include life skills, personal development, personal care/hygiene,
cooking and house cleaning. Assist participants in identifying
careers that fit their skills, interest, and family situation.
Collaborate with local employers and advocate for job opportunities
for participants. Attend weekly house meetings with participants to
build rapport, cultivate relationships, and share current program
information. Conduct weekly individual check in meetings with
participants to provide support, encouragement, and a listening
ear. Ensure participants are following program requirements, rules,
and policies. Ensure participants maintain an adequate supply of
personal and household items. Develop and facilitate family
strengthening activities with the families being served. Advocate
for participants in protection of their legal rights and in
assisting them in activities beyond their present level of
independence while remaining in adherence to Circle of Care
policies. Encourage and coordinate participation in community
activities. Assist with visitation arrangements to the campus and
off campus. Become familiar with the purpose of participants
medications and any side effects or precautions for each drug.
Understand dietary needs of participants and ensure needs are
considered during nutrition workshops. Assist with
afternoon/evening child care for parent meetings. Share on-call
weekend duties if necessary to transport participants to church
services and other program specific locations. Ensure security of
cottages and that participants are all accounted for prior to the
end of shift. Facilitate monthly participant review meetings with
the Director and other program staff. Manage monitoring and
reporting of program outcomes and collaborate with the Director on
program planning and development for continuous quality of
improvement. Who You Are A strong communicator who builds trust
easily. Ability to embrace diversity and difficult personal
circumstances in serving participants of varied backgrounds and
learning styles. Capable of working collaboratively with
colleagues, participants, and community resources. Excellent
listening, written and verbal communication skills with a comfort
level in delivering presentations and training. Attention to detail
and accuracy, strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple
tasks and follow through in a timely manner. Ability to motivate
and inspire others and engage in critical thinking. Motivated to
continually develop knowledge in social services by participating
in ongoing professional development through training, meetings, and
educational courses. Proficiency in MS Office Suite as well as
ability to learn software and database programs. Present
exceptional customer service with high expectations for quality of
service. Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Tolerance to work under adverse conditions. Work independently, and
as a team member, without constant supervision. Organized, detailed
and receptive to constructive criticism. Ability to use standard
office equipment. Capable of lifting heavy objects of up to 20
pounds. Capable of ascending and descending stairs. Desire to work
in a social service setting. Become familiar with all of Circle of
Care programs and facilities. Committed to the mission of Circle of
Care and the service of homeless women and children. Ability to
work in an office setting. Ability to work on-call when needed.
What You Bring Required: Bachelors degree or higher in social work;
and/or a minimum of (5) years direct care experience in a human
services field. Must be at least 21 years of age. Experience
working with homeless, near homeless and /or other similar
disenfranchised populations. Demonstrated discretion in dealing
with sensitive issues and client privacy. Pass a thorough
background check, Department of Transportation check,
pre-employment physical, drug test as required by Department of
Human Services Possess a valid Oklahoma drivers license and a good
