Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Responsible for maintaining a friendly and professional environment by greeting and acknowledging every customer and co-worker that approaches. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable. Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks. Perform any other duties as directed by management.**EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:** Coach and counsel your sales associates; meet daily with your sales team; offer them the advice, support, motivation, or information they need in order to help them meet their sales objectives; supervise the sales floor; make sure your salespeople are doing everything they should be doing to successfully sell; it is your responsibility to see that the sales floor operations functions smoothly; work directly with customers and employees across all departments; assist with any problems associated with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations; work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met; answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses; emphasize product features based on analyses of customers needs; help locate or obtain merchandise for customers; describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers; knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products; use excellent customer relations.**EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:** Ability to lift merchandise of 20 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment practices.**PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:** To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
