Director of Electrical EngineeringTEAM - Electrical
EngineeringPOSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking an innovative and
detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our engineering team at
Cyntergy. In this role, you will leverage your power and lighting
design experience and technical expertise to create comprehensive
electrical designs for a variety of projects. You will collaborate
closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that designs meet
both functional and compliance standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS--
Develop and produce drawings for building's lighting, power and
electrical distribution systems for various projects, ensuring
compliance with industry standards and client expectations.--
Perform lighting and power engineering calculations.-- Design
electrical systems in accordance with local, state, and federal
regulations.-- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and
other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into
overall project designs.-- Support the procurement process by
evaluating and specifying appropriate materials and equipment for
new electrical infrastructure and reviewing vendor proposals.--
Adhere to project schedules, budgets and scope of work.-- Maintain
a positive and professional work
environment.QUALIFICATIONSRequired:-- Vocational Certificate or
Associates degree in Engineering Design or Drafting.-- 3+ years of
electrical design experience in the architectural / built
environment.-- Proficiency in Revit and MS Office.-- Strong
understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IBC,
IECC).-- Capable of performing calculations and analyses to support
design decisions.Preferred:-- Bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering or related field.-- Professional Engineer (PE) license
or working towards licensure.-- Proficiency in electrical analysis
software (e.g., SKM PowerTools).-- Competency in AutoCADSKILLS--
Expertise in electrical distribution systems, power design, and
lighting design.-- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing
challenges.-- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
while managing multiple priorities effectively.-- Strong
communication and organizational skills.-- Commitment to continuous
learning and professional development in the engineering
field.LOCATIONThis role is hybrid, requiring successful candidates
