Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible to perform various supply management duties that typically involve substantial financial commitments, technical complexities, or high priority. Ensure compliance with the company's established quality standards and business requirements and promote customer satisfaction.Your responsibilities

  • Conducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures, Promotes and supports facility safety initiatives and efforts
  • Supports manufacturing schedules by executing all aspects of materials planning, ordering, scheduling, expediting and scheduling transportation and delivery of respective materials/commodities
  • Responsible for the facility's inventory management objectives through effective management of raw, WIP, buffer and bulk inventories for respective materials/commodities
  • Performs root cause analysis of cycle counting activities/results to ensure facility inventory accuracy issues are resolved
  • Serve in a plant scheduling capacity by creating production schedules or participating in production work center scheduling activities
  • Identifies and negotiates direct and indirect cost savings opportunities and coordinates with responsible functions to achieve savings results and Oversees supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolves performance issues
  • Serves in a buyer capacity by managing the outsourcing process to include supplier selection, RFQ's, bid evaluation, supplier development and problem resolution
  • Ensure continuous improvement by creating effective documentation of the processes related to all aspects of materials planning, plant scheduling and warehouse operationsYour background
    • Associates Degree and minimum 4 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment OR
    • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment
    • 6+ months experience of working in back office SCM operations to support a manufacturing facility preferred
    • Experience in communicating with the various manufacturing disciplines, sales offices, suppliers and customers
    • Technology savvy, including experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products and SAP preferred
    • Demonstrated drive to improve customer facing metrics and Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
