With over 3,000 employees globally, our Consumer Retail Services (CRS) division works closely with manufacturers, retailers and brands to support them in developing and producing innovative, safe products through consumer product testing. Our proactive approach to risk reduction eliminates issues in sourcing, safety, and quality assurance before they impact our client’s business and brand. Our expertise and dedication to enhance sustainability also extends across the areas of social responsibility, environmental, brand protection, supply chain security, extractives, and raw material sourcing.

As our global footprint continues to grow, we are looking for a Wash Technician to join our 2nd Shift team in Bentonville, AR!

  • Perform standardized tests using general laboratory equipment. Perform routine care of designated test equipment and work area. Operate computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software.
  • Read and interpret results of tests. Examine test samples, read measuring instruments and review test data with supervisor. Read and interpret operational instructions.
  • Operate designated testing equipment as directed.
  • Receive instructions from and report data to section heads, group leaders, engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Record observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets.
  • Help integrate continuous improvement concepts and techniques for lab site.
  • Perform Crocking/Rubbing tests.
  • Perform Washing tests according to sample label or customer request.
  • Use die press and dies to distribute appropriate testing samples to supporting labs.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
  • UL has COVID-19 protocols and policies in place. Business related travel on behalf of UL requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency required. 
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, bending and stooping. 
  • Ability to work 2nd Shift hours (2pm-10:30pm).
  • Ability to work Overtime as needed.
