Employee works as a team member in the Aseptic Packaging
Department to ensure the packaging of finished goods.
In alignment with Act 593(B) this position is considered safety
sensitive as this employee operates, maintains, and monitors
+ Managing Packaging operation by ensuring equipment is
operating and maintaining production standards. Equipment includes:
Over Capper, Sleever, Case Packer, Palletizer and Accumulation
+ Employee will have to perform quality checks according to the
+ Complete SAP Declarations and Consumptions as well as complete
all coder setups and checks. While operator is responsible for own
work, may be called upon to show other operators the duties of the
job. Must complete all packaging documentation as required.
+ Order/return materials for production including staging
materials to location using SAP system.
+ Employee may have to perform the task of a forklift
+ Work pace is normal and requires close attention at times.
Employee is required to maintain area housekeeping and specific
machine cleaning. Work requires continuous light physical
+ Employee must support and comply with all Nestl programs and
policies, including, affirmative action goals and commitments, SHE
(Safety, Health & Environment) strategies, corporate citizenship
initiatives, NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence), TPM (Total
Performance Management), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and
Safety Policies to ensure employee safety and product quality.
Employee must meet all requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality
Management System) and ISO (International Organization for
Standardization) standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental
Compliance and Occupational Health and Safety.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Must be able to understand recipes, make up production and
inspection reports, write requisitions for materials and understand
written instructions. Will be called upon to use computers to
accomplish tasks. 9 th or 10 th grade education required. Operator
will be required to document they are qualified to perform the
functions of a Packaging Machine Operator.
Required: Minimum 6 months relevant work experience
Preferred: 3 years experience in food manufacturing or other
