Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport petroleum products to specified locations on a dedicated route. Monitor load safety, vehicle maintenance, and comply with all governmental and company regulations. Regularly inspect vehicle to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working condition. Manage routes and routines to optimize delivery efficiency and fuel consumption. Communicate timely and effectively with dispatch and management teams. Maintain accurate logbooks, fuel records, and necessary documentation for compliance. Proven skills in operating a Class A commercial vehicle safely. Ability to use GPS and other routing systems to manage and plan efficient routes. Strong understanding of compliance with safety and DOT regulations. Excellent time management skills to meet pickup and delivery schedules. Physical ability to handle manual tasks which include adjusting equipment and inspecting transport.
