Job Description:

Principal Software Engineer focused on back-end development, you
will be instrumental in building robust solutions that optimize our
operations and enhance the shopping experience for millions around
the globe. This role expects you to lead by example, advocate for
technical excellence, and drive the strategic direction of our
backend systems. Design, develop, and maintain scalable,
high-performance back-end systems. Lead cross-functional teams to
implement new features while adhering to best engineering
practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine functional
and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
Ensure the creation and implementation of a robust automation
strategy to improve development and monitoring processes. Mentor
junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement
within the team. Expertise in server-side languages like Java,
Python, Ruby, or .NET Strong understanding of database management,
including SQL and NoSQL databases. Proficiency in developing
RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Experience with
container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes. Strong
analytical and troubleshooting skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Kubernetes
Administrator (CKA) is highly desirable. Oracle Certified
Professional, Java SE Programmer Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) to
showcase understanding of Agile methodologies.
