Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Administers, plans and directs activities of the department providing diagnostic testing and treatment of patients. Establishes policies and procedures and provides direction for treatment, purchasing, safety procedures and personnel utilization. Maintains statistics. Directs departmental educational programs and professional activities. Schedule Details: Mon- Fri 8-5pm Qualification: Adult ICU experience and knowledge. Three (3) - four (4) years of related experience. In-depth knowledge of general disease state management processes. In-depth knowledge of all facets of respiratory treatment and technology. Ability to be detail oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data. Advanced PC skills as required for electronic order entry and clinical documentation and data review. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Completion of AMA approved Respiratory Care program. Bachelor's degree in science or business. Valid Oklahoma License for Respiratory Care. RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 months of hire. Additional Information: Manager for Adult and Pediatric Respiratory Care. Oversees both ICU and general respiratory programs, including the COPD program.
