Transco Lines, Inc., a leader in logistics and transportation, is currently seeking experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our dedicated team. Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck over intercity routes or spanning several states. Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Report any issues or incidents encountered on the road to the dispatch manager. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip and report any problems or maintenance needs. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). Willingness to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.
