Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Emergency Job Details: • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards • Complete patient assessments and individualize plans of care within established nursing guidelines • Carry out nursing care considering cultural and psychosocial factors for patients of all ages • Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for the emergency department patient population • Demonstrate sound bio-psychosocial knowledge base and professional judgment in response to changing situations • Document nursing process and care accurately using correct medical terminology and abbreviations • Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning with timely, appropriate referrals • Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines and support unit goals through performance improvement activities • Attend mandatory in-services and meet unit education standards • 2 years of nursing experience required • Epic experience required • Required certifications: Valid Oklahoma or multi-state RN license, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS • Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Must be detail-oriented with ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department that provides acute care services to patients with varying levels of medical urgency.
