ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - MICU Job Details: • Work night shifts with 3x12 schedule • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Every other weekend schedule required • Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1 • Float requirements to stepdown and medical surgical units • No call requirements • 2 years of critical care experience required • Required certifications: Current Arkansas Licensure, BLS, ACLS • CCRN certification preferred • Must pass medication and math competency test with 90% minimum score before assuming medication administration responsibilities • Test covers knowledge of drug actions, side effects, and IV calculations • One retake allowed if initial test is failed • Work with EPIC electronic medical records system • Fast-paced environment seeking upbeat and driven nurses • Dress code requires black scrubs with no open-toe shoes Facility: This 336-bed acute care hospital has over 100 years of history providing compassionate care to the community.
