Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Tahlequah, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,150 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, 74464! Job Title: Labor & Delivery Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7a - 7p Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have: - BLS, NRP and Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required. - Experience in Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care. - Ability to work with gynecology surgery patients. - Willingness to float to Med/Surg if necessary. Description: Unit specific requirements include BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring. The facility can cancel one shift every other week. An OB nurse is needed for 15-17 births per month. Nurses will provide care in Labor and Delivery, as well as Mother-Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care. Nurses will work with gynecology surgery patients. If there are no patients, nurses may float to Med/Surg. If uncomfortable taking patients on the Med/Surg floor, nurses will assist with vitals, passing medications, etc. Tasks such as supporting the RN with EFM evaluations, turning patients, assisting with documentation, and baby nursing will be performed. The initial assessment must be validated by the RN. Additional help can be requested from the Transfer Coordinator for assistance. In an emergency, the LPN may accompany the patient to the OR, allowing the RN to remain on the unit for potential triages. Being a small unit requires creativity, but excellent support and resources are available when needed. 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Different regions may incorporate alternative medicine practices into healthcare.
