Job Title Infection Preventionalist, RN City/State: Springdale, Arkansas Shift: 08:00-17:00, 8 Hour Days, M-F Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The Travel Infection Preventionalist role involves managing infection prevention activities including COVID-specific duties such as tracking, reporting, isolation management, and liaising with various committees to ensure compliance with infection control standards. Responsibilities: Manage COVID inpatient lists and staff vaccine data. Conduct rounds and phone calls to adhere to isolation orders. Review cultures and manage reports in Sentri7/NHSN. Engage in relaying reports to PA-NEDSS on COVID nosocomial infections and deaths. Conduct environmental rounds and HHS tracker updates on a weekly basis. Participate in infection control committee meetings quarterly with QAPI data entry. Track employee vaccination numbers and manage the annual NHSN survey submission. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
