Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Unit position with day shifts and an active AR or compact license required. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is within a hospital Stepdown Unit - Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 - Patient population includes high-acuity stepdown cases - Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs - Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment - Local candidates living within 50 miles may receive a different contract rate - Local staff may complete up to three consecutive 13-week contracts before a mandatory 1-year break or reassignment - Full compliance files must be complete two weeks prior to start - Candidates should not submit to more than one position at the same facility concurrently /n /n Requirements/n - Active AR or compact RN license at time of consideration - No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment, unless a renewal is scheduled - Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown experience required - At least 2 years of overall nursing experience preferred - No employment gaps greater than 90 days within the past 12 months - Valid U.S. Social Security Number is required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-652863.
