Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: Required certifications for the position. Must-Have: Charge experience, patient ratio experience, familiarity with charting systems. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down care. The position involves working night shifts. This role is suitable for first-time travel RNs. Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 4:1. The unit cares primarily for adults and geriatrics. Common patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation, sepsis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Interdisciplinary support is available, including therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Nurses may be required to float to similar units based on facility needs. Brief orientation will be provided for travelers assigned to different units.
