Ultrasound Tech Location: Tulsa, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,840 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist Profession: Clinical Professional Specialty: Cardiac Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Six (6) months of related experience License: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Echocardiography; Epic; Previous Traveler Experience Description: Responsible for diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound. Provides the cardiologist with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures. Enables the physician to provide accurate diagnoses. Provides immediate feedback with preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians. Assists the physician with studies and aids in complex procedures. Decreases potential associated procedural risks in various settings. Demonstrates correct technique, efficiency, and judgment in the performance of advanced procedures. Performs adult and/or pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures. Operates necessary equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic recordings. Exercises appropriate judgment in notifying the physician of abnormal results. Maintains proper documentation of data according to policy. Documents all procedures accurately in departmental tracking. Processes charging and other necessary data efficiently and accurately. Collaborates in maintaining departmental efficiency. Anticipates needs in equipment and supplies. Uses resources wisely to assist in cost containment. Schedules patients efficiently. Supports departmental goals through QA and educational activities. Maintains current competency and registry in two specialty practices. Demonstrates initiative in personal and professional development. Maintains compliance with mandatory education standards. Participates in departmental QA processes and accreditation. Modifies behavior to meet changing hospital goals. Complies with departmental policies. Maintains a clean environment. Practices infection control. Promotes safety for patients, visitors, and personnel. Maintains confidentiality. Collaborates effectively with all members of the healthcare team. Makes independent judgments in decision-making. Coordinates activities of others without supervision. Works directly with patients and/or customers. Engages with healthcare professionals and staff regularly. Interacts frequently with individuals at the Director level or above.
