Job Description Job Description Pay Information $270 to $275 per hour About the Position Job Description Provide comprehensive Emergency Department care to patients in a modern, accredited facility. Deliver 24/7 emergency medical services including triage, stabilization, and management of acute and life-threatening conditions. Perform minor and major emergency procedures — suturing, intubation, central and arterial line placement, chest tube insertion, fracture reduction, lumbar puncture, and more. Manage a wide range of medical emergencies — cardiac, respiratory, trauma, neurological, psychiatric, GI, and endocrine. Work collaboratively with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, quality patient care. Maintain accurate documentation, admissions, consults, and discharge summaries per facility standards. Participate in patient education, infection control, and quality assurance programs . Requirements ? Requirements MD or DO from an accredited institution. Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (Emergency Medicine strongly preferred). Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state or territory. Current BLS & ACLS certifications required. Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (within past 5 years) for non-EM physicians. U.S. Citizenship required. Must meet all VA credentialing and privileging requirements. Compliance with immunization and infection control standards (TB, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, COVID-19). Job Benefits Compensation & Benefits $275/hour – premium locum rate. 12-month ongoing contract with potential extension. Flexible day and night shifts (8–12 hours). No on-call duties – focus exclusively on ED coverage. Travel and lodging fully covered. Streamlined credentialing support for quick start.
