Position Overview: Education: Completion of a nursing program
(Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
Licensure: It is essential to obtain and maintain a valid RN
license in the state of employment and/or compact licensure where
nursing responsibilities are carried out, adhering to all state
board of nursing regulations. Certifications: - Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or
successful completion of the course within 30 days of employment.
Depending on the specific role or unit, additional certifications
may be necessary or must be acquired within a designated timeframe:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) - ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - CPHON (Certified
Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) - OCN (Oncology Certified
Nurse) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - PEARS (Pediatric
Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) - S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar,
Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional
Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules - C-EFM (Fetal Monitor
Certification) - Other specific certifications as required by the
unit. Physical Demands: • The role necessitates the ability to
regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs. • Prolonged
standing and walking are required throughout each shift. • The
position involves gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting,
