Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have Skills/Experience: The ED nurse is responsible for assessing patients. The nurse plans and evaluates patient care. Education of the patient and family is required as needed. Utilization of appropriate resources to optimize patient care and flow is essential. The nurse should follow pain assessment policies. Assessment and management of pain complaints are necessary. Participation in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives is expected. Description: We are seeking an experienced registered nurse for the emergency department. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a critical care setting. This position requires strong assessment skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families. The emergency department provides care for patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse must be committed to delivering compassionate care and enhancing patient experiences. Preferred certification includes CPEN.
