Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Fort Smith, AR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,840 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of level 3 or 4 NICU experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Experience caring for level 3 NICU infants. - Proficiency with High Frequency vents, conventional vents, CPAP, NIMV, HFNC, Nitric, whole body cooling, OG/NG/PO feedings, UAC, UVC, PICC, PIV. - Ability to attend high-risk deliveries, including cesarean section deliveries. Description: This position involves caring for critically ill infants in the NICU. The nurse will manage various forms of ventilation and support for the newborns. Responsibilities include administering feedings and medications. There is a requirement to attend high-risk deliveries when called upon. Candidates should have experience in a high-acuity setting with complex patient needs. Floating to other units may occur but is unlikely due to high census levels. Weekly guaranteed hours are typically provided. The environment is fast-paced, and teamwork is essential. The dress code includes wearing black scrubs.
