Overview of Med Surg Our Med Surg Service Line comprises eight
specialized units, offering diverse experiences with patient
populations that present a wide array of diagnoses and care
requirements. These units are dedicated to the care of patients who
are either preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical
procedures. Although you will have a designated "home unit," we
provide cross-training for our nurses across different specialties,
ensuring a robust foundational understanding of various patient
conditions, comorbidities, and procedures. Whether you are a recent

graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree,
Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and
maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment,
including meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications: Required to possess an American Heart Association
Healthcare Provider card or complete a course during the
probationary period. ACLS and BLS certifications are also required
