The Dedicated Orientation Unit at our facility features 18 beds and is dedicated to equipping newly hired caregivers with essential skills for success. We seek passionate nurses who are committed to education, patient care, and best practices. This unit will cater to Medical Telemetry patients with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Each nurse will mentor two newly hired caregivers. By joining this unit, you will significantly impact the future of nursing while developing your leadership abilities for your career advancement! Incentives: Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for experienced nurses in select departments. Relocation assistance available up to $3,000 as per policy. Stay Premium Program offering up to $8/hour based on years of service. Education assistance including: Up to $20,000 in loan forgiveness for new graduate nurses. Shift differentials available. New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $7.50 for RNs / $5.50 for LPNs. Qualifications: Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements. Experience: A minimum of three years of nursing experience is required. Preferred Experience: Previous mentoring or precepting experience is advantageous, along with medical-surgical experience. Certifications: Must possess an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course during the probationary period. ACLS and BLS certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
