These units cater to patients who are either preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical procedures. While you will have a designated “home unit,” we provide cross-training for our nurses across various specialties, ensuring a robust foundational understanding of different patient conditions, comorbidities, and procedures. Qualifications: Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment and must fulfill all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Required to possess an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course during the probationary period. ACLS and BLS certifications are also required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
