Description: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM TWO YEARS IN GENERAL
NUCLEAR MEDICINE IN OUTPATIENT SETTING. REQUIRED minimum 1 years'
experience with Client gamma camera. EPIC Experience highly
preferred. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS & REGISTRATION: NMTCB (CNMT) or
ARRT(N) Registration; DOT certification and CPR (AHA). REQUIRED
EDUCATION: Graduation from an AMA approved program in
Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Technology. Patient volume will vary
between 10-15 patients per day. Equipment includes Client Gamma
cameras: Infinia, Infinia with Hawkeye, and Discovery Nuclear
Medicine Information System Dose tracking system (PINESTAR);
Capintec Dose Calibrator and Well; Biodex Dose Calibrator and Well
Captus 400 uptake and Probe; Xeleris 2.0, 3.0 and Mirada processing
software; McKesson PACS and Epic EMR. Job location at the Saint
Francis Imaging Center located at 6605 S Yale Ave, Tulsa, OK 74136.
1st day will report to a different building on campus and then
report to the work location across the street. No floating to other
facilities required. JOB DETAILS: Perform Nuclear Med technical
exams accurately and in a timely fashion. Patient type includes
outpatients, inpatients and emergent patients, from low to high
acuity. Perform and document quality control on all equipment to
ensure that it is with in the calibration date, meets regulatory
compliance standards, and verify it operates with in the set
specifications. Preparation, administration, disposal, and
documentation of radiopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, oral
contrast, and IV contrast under the direction of the physician
authorized user, and the protocols set by the Medical Director of
the department. Accurately documents and maintains records of
shipping, receiving use, storage, and disposal of all radioisotopes
per NRC, DEQ, and the health systems policies. Accurately document
and maintain room surveys and wipe tests, bioassays, and assist in
quality attainment programs. Schedule exams, verify physician
written orders, and send documentation to medical records. Maintain
orderliness and cleanliness of rooms and equipment. Stock supplies
and linen as needed. Time management, multitasking, organizational,
and prioritizing skills required. Safety Sensitive position: Safety
