Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to support orientation, competency programs, and continuing education at the Unit level for Mercy coworkers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

--- Support orientation, competency programs, and continuing education at the Unit level
--- Develop and implement education programs for Mercy coworkers
--- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver evidence-based practice and improve patient care
--- Organize and multitask to meet project deadlines
--- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and audiovisual equipment to support education programs





**Requirements:**

--- BSN/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire
--- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
--- Current appropriate state Registered Nurse (RN) license
--- AHA BLS provider certification
--- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and ability to positively influence patient care





**Preferred Qualifications:**

--- Certified or progress toward certification in a specialty related to responsibilities
--- 2 years teaching experience
--- Additional life support certifications as required by specialty
