Our Med Surg Service Line is comprised of 7 specialty units, providing a unique opportunity for nurses to gain experience with a diverse range of patient populations and care needs. **Job Responsibilities:**

* Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse range of patient populations
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care
* Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork

**Unit Details:**

* **Cardiac Unit:**
+ Patient population: close monitoring and nursing care for patients with cardiac and renal anomalies, including hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis and cardiac patients who do not require cardiac drips
+ Nurse to patient ratio: 6:1
+ Number of beds: 18
+ UAP to patient ratio: 9:1

**Qualifications:**

* **Experience:** Minimum 3 years bedside related experience
* **Education:** Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
* **Licensure:** Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
* **Certifications:** American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card, ACLS, and BLS
