and technology. What you'll be doing: You will be an ambassador for
data insights informing business decisions across our clients and
Wunderman Thompson. You will work with marketing clients and
colleagues to develop and deliver data & insight activities centred
on CRM targeting, personalisation, measurement and optimisation
across multiple digital channels. You should be a self-starter,
full of enthusiasm and highly collaborative. You will be joining an
award-winning Data and Insights Department, including most
previously being named Best Data and Analytics Team at the Data IQ
Awards. You will lead the strategic direction for data-driven
communications working with a significant account, before expanding
to more of our clients, being the 'glue' integrating data and
analytics with broader marketing strategy to develop connected
data-inspired CRM. Collaboration is key to this role - you'll be
working closely with analysts, strategists, account and campaign
delivery teams as well as multiple client stakeholders.
- Lead the development of relationships with key client
stakeholders and internal WT teams to promote, develop and manage
data, insight and analysis deliverables.
- Be the clients' trusted advisor on all things data strategy and
make it easy for clients to make business decisions - based on data
- Lead clients by developing data strategies and roadmaps to
propel client marketing activities forward.
- Develop the skills and knowledge of colleagues, creating and
sustaining a test and learn culture across the team.
- Present frequently to clients and attend client meetings,
sometimes at client locations.
- Drive strategy across all channels and touch points moving from
direct mail, email and SMS channels to a connected communications
plan encompassing digital media including social, mobile and
website. In addition:
- Define frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness, set KPIs,
benchmarks, targets and forecast to support business cases.
- Define and setup reporting and analysis processes and
deliverables that meet client objectives.
- Measure, evaluate and optimise marketing activity using best
practice testing methodologies where necessary.
- Develop campaign targeting plans and briefs to internal or 3rd
party campaign delivery teams.
- Data discovery and analysis projects to unify consumer data and
develop insights to inform strategy and drive targeting Who you
- Strategic thinker with strong knowledge of CRM and digital
- Significant experience in a data function, preferably within an
agency environment or similar with transferable experience.
- Demonstrable success at leading clients and teams
- Excellent communication, organisation, proposal writing and
- Able to explain the details of data and analytics in a
non-technical way to people outside the discipline.
- High level numeracy and analysis skills. This is not a hands-on
role but use / awareness of any of the following would be
- Campaign Management tools (e.g. Adobe Campaign)
- Data Management Platforms (e.g. Krux, Adobe Audience Manager)
