The 3 rd Party Resell Operations lead is an effective innovator and communicator in working with some of 8x8's most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for driving software ecosystems and a high level of flexibility and commitment. Responsibilities

• Act as the owner of operations for the third-party software partners that 8x8 chooses to resell to its customers, possessing a complete understanding of the strategic context of internal and external variables that impact all areas of 8x8
• Ensure that adding 3rd party software partners to the 8x8 ecosystem will not create bottlenecks or operational challenges to the overall 8x8 sales process
• Create efficiencies to increase speed and margin of the 3rd party software business
• Support effective negotiations with vendors to establish joint goals, improve cost structure, and sustainably grow the P&L
• Help internal teams structure commercial deals and operational terms with new partners and clean up problematic operational approaches with existing partners
• Work cross-functionally with counterparts in sales operations, sales, billing, professional services and business applications to operate and grow the business
• Concisely represent your business to senior 8x8 leaders through reporting, business reviews, financial planning sessions, and escalations
• Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets
• Continually improve and automate manual processes to enable us to scale better as the business grows Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree educated, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Management, or similar related subjects
  • Professional experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders with proven expertise in contract negotiation
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven experience managing third-party vendor relationships
  • A solid understanding of the sales and processes.--
  • Proficiency with Excel, Tableau or other analytics tools--
