DescriptionAbout this role The MD, Aladdin Head of Marketing will lead all aspects of marketing and lead generation for Aladdin. This executive will build a long-term strategic growth plan for Aladdin, partnering closely with corporate marketing & communications, strategy, platform, and sales counterparts. The Aladdin Head of Marketing will lead all marketing functions, including lead generation / prospection, events (internal and external), publications and media outreach, content (e.g., collaterals, advertising, digital, social), budgeting, planning, execution, and MROI analysis. This executive will lead a diverse team through sophisticated marketing operations - ideally with significant experience and track record in B2B technology/ financial software. This is a highly collaborative role requiring partnership across the entirety of the Aladdin ecosystem. The Aladdin Head of Marketing will lead a growing team of 15 marketers globally. This position reports to the Global Head of Business Development for Aladdin, with a dotted line to the BlackRock global marketing organization. Key Responsibilities

• Marketing vision and implementation: Define the marketing vision to support Aladdin's overall business growth objectives and lead all aspects of day-to-day implementation across all marketing activities
• Lead generation: Supervise the lead generation team - define target / priority markets to address, drive the team to achieve lead generation objectives (quantity and quality) through well thought-out, impactful campaigns using relevant content and emailing tools
• Events: Build, handle, and deliver the annual event planning (public and private markets, risk), ensuring brand visibility and high-quality experiences - including the client conferences and important internal events
• Communications and media: Drive the media engagement plan and communications plan, including the coordination of the creation of relevant content / publications
• Content management: Handle marketing content creation and improvement in support of the business, including marketing and sales collaterals, client references, social media engagement, and the website
• Brand awareness: In coordination with global marketing, lead all specific aspects of the branding strategy for Aladdin
• Community engagement: Support organization-wide efforts to engage with the client base and broader product community and strengthen the user/ client network
• Department connectivity: Liaise with other BlackRock marketing and communications teams across the firm to guide a unified approach to client outreach
• Measurement and reporting: Build a quantitative marketing team (including MROI). Partner across the Aladdin platform to drive business impact
• Operations & management: Drive operational efficiency of the team-defining relevant processes and tools to operate at scale
• Talent development: Develop a growing team of marketing professionals, currently based in Europe. Lead hiring efforts globallyDesired Qualifications
  • Outstanding track-record as a marketing leader with measurable impacts and tangible achievements
  • Demonstrated breadth of capabilities cover the full scope of marketing activities and functions that form the role
  • Proven track record of developing robust marketing teams
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B technology or financial technology marketing, on an international level
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence through all levels of an organization, demonstrated through excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English required; additional language skills are a plus
