MasTec, Inc., a recognized leader in North American infrastructure construction, seeks an accomplished Sr. Project Engineer to guide engineering projects within the construction sector. This role demands proficiency in project management, design integration, and cross-functional leadership to effectively manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet our stringent standards for quality, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of construction engineering, exemplary problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to the evolving landscape of construction technologies and methodologies. Oversee project lifecycle from initial conception through design, construction, and closeout. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are integrated and aligned with strategic objectives. Manage budgets, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and results. Ensure compliance with safety standards and governmental regulations. Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and consultants to maintain transparent communication and address any issues promptly. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timeline and quality. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions when needed. Expertise in CAD software and engineering design tools. Strong leadership and project management skills. Proficient in risk management and project lifecycle management tools. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project Management Professional) certification desired. PE (Professional Engineer) license is advantageous.
