Job Description:

At Cherokee Federal, a division of Cherokee Nation Businesses, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimation Planner to join our Public Administration & Government division. As a vital member of our team, the Cost Estimation Planner will play a critical role in providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for government projects focused on construction and engineering initiatives. This position requires a deep understanding of financial projection techniques and budget management, tailored to ensure efficiency and efficacy in meeting our contractual obligations on a global scale. Develop detailed cost estimates and financial models for government construction and engineering projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather and analyze all necessary cost information. Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to support project decision-making and budget preparations. Track and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and updates to project scope. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations regarding financial estimates and projections. Assist in preparing proposals and bids by supplying accurate cost data. Strong analytical and mathematical skills Expertise in cost estimation software (e.g., Timberline, Microsoft Project) Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to interpret and utilize engineering drawings and technical specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Cost Professional (CCP) by AACE International or equivalent is preferred.
