Machinist – 2nd Shift Location: Jenks Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM –
12:00 Midnight (must be available to train on 1st shift) Pay:
$23/hr, based on experience Job Summary: We are hiring an
experienced CNC Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. This position
requires someone confident in both mill and lathe operations who
can work independently with minimal supervision. The right
candidate will be skilled in precision machining, blueprint
reading, and quality inspection, with the ability to keep
production running efficiently and accurately. Key
Responsibilities: Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes
to produce parts to tight tolerances. Read and interpret
blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Select and set up
proper tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds. Perform in-process and
final inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers,
micrometers, gauges, etc.). Troubleshoot machining issues and make
necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Maintain
equipment through routine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
Keep work area clean, safe, and organized. Qualifications: Proven
CNC machining experience (mills and lathes required). Strong
understanding of precision measuring tools and quality standards.
Ability to work independently on 2nd shift with minimal oversight.
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness
to train on day shift before transitioning to 2nd shift. MED
