SummaryThe Test & Certificate Engineer is responsible for ensuring
the technical integrity of products through comprehensive testing,
certification, and verification processes.Essential Job Functions
Create and maintain product certification/approval documentation.
Monitor applicable standards for modifications, addendums and
updates that may impact certifications/approvals for Roxtec
products.Serve as liaison to testing facilities and certifying
organizations.Schedule and witness tests of Roxtec products by
appropriate testing facilities.Develop and implement procedures for
testing and certifying Roxtec products.Participate in analyzing
product deficiencies and production problems and initiating
corrective Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).Execute Engineering
Change Notices (ECNs).Develop and deliver new employee onboarding
training.Provide technical assistance to internal and external
customers.Take part in product development initiativesParticipate
in industry standards and technical
committees.Requirements:RequirementsMust be a U.S.
CitizenSelf-motivated with strong project management
skills.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering
high-quality work.Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, codes,
standards, regulations, and test data.Ability to convey technical
information to all levels of an organization.Effective
communication and collaboration abilities Demonstrate a high level
of mechanical aptitude.Basic understanding of drafting and
familiarity with ANSI and ASME standards.Ability to travel up to
35% of the timeEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in
mechanical, industrial, chemical, fire protection, or electrical
engineering or equivalent experience.Strong verbal and written
communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and
Autodesk.Experience in product testing/certification
preferred.Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
preferred.Experience in international projects and cross-cultural
communication preferred.Physical Requirements Required to wear PPE
