Arkansas WHAT YOU'LL DO: TheControls Engineer will be part of a
Controls team responsible for the ideation, development, and
implementation of state-of-the-art automated solutions with a first
and best-to-market mindset focused on efficiency, safety, and
capacity. They will also work on special projects such as
development and improvement. Daily tasks will be: Ensure the MES
system is functional for production Work on improvement projects
with controls of equipment and MES Work with Elec Tech's in
maintenance to ensure uptime Work with supervisors and other
Engineers to problem solve Other duties as needed to support Rheem
manufacturing Qualifications WHAT YOU NEED: Bachelor's Degree in
Engineering or related field. 3+ years of related work experience
Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent
analytical, problem solving and leadership skills Strong computer
skills HOW TO STAND OUT: Automated Mechatronic System Ideation and
Design (Electrical and Controls Focus) experience PLC Programming
Design and Troubleshooting experience SQL experience Factory Talk
Transaction Manager experience Ignition experience Robotics OEM
programming Languages (i.e.., Fanuc, ABB, KuKa) Vision and
Perception Prime OEM Experience (i.e., Cognex, Banner, Sick, etc.)
Software Design, Simulation, and Emulation (Controls Focused).
Support day to day operations using tools of the engineering
discipline. Apply various technical problem-solving techniques to
evaluate recommended manufacturing improvement strategies and
programs - 5 Why analysis, 1 x 1 problems solving, MTBF, MTTR, and
other Root cause strategies. Clearly and effectively present ideas
and problem solutions to department heads and plant management.
Analyze operations, processes, and manufacturing sequences to make
improvements and reduce operating time and cost. Develop requests
for approval of expenditures - capital, expense, and purchase
requisitions. Robotics Advanced Path Planning and Functionality in
Non-Native Languages (i.e., RoS) Vision and Perception Development
of Vision Software to Facilitate Robotic Path Planning Industrial
Electrical Licensure UL Industrial Controls Panel Design and Build
Machine Learning Development and Implementation MHE (Material
Handling Equipment) Specific Logic Control Distribution and
