Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners in a dynamic school environment located in Fort Smith, AR. This role involves working closely with students requiring specialized instructional strategies to enhance academic and social development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers to support student progress. Utilize evidence-based teaching methods and adaptations to promote inclusive learning. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed. Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities. Occasionally travel to multiple school sites within the region to provide support. Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience in creating and managing IEPs. Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices. Ability to adapt instruction based on student abilities and needs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willingness and flexibility to travel between locations as required. Location: Position based in Fort Smith, Arkansas with travel to surrounding school sites as part of job duties.
