too. About the job This position works to assemble products by
positioning and installing components and subassemblies according
to drawings and instructions. Using a variety of hand and power
tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment that are
needed to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble
coolers. Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly
instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering
parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Assemble components by
examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and
subassemblies using hand and power tools. Verify specifications by
measuring completed cooler components. Assist Team Leader or
Manager with training new employees. This position is in Broken
Arrow, Oklahoma. As a part of the team, you will: /n - Positions
parts and subassemblies by reading blueprints and instructions. /n
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit. /n
- Operates hand and power tools to connect parts. /n - Performs
tube installation and rolling operations. /n - Keeps equipment
operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions
with Team Lead, Supervisor and/ or Team Manager approval. /n -
Provides needed material(s) to various work stations and/or
locations. /n - Loads and unloads trucks, units and parts. /n -
Reads blue prints or instructions for job specifications. /n -
Operates cut saws, drill presses, and punch press, as needed to
fabricate parts and subassemblies. /n - Keeps equipment operational
by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following
manufacturer's instructions; and troubleshooting malfunctions. /n -
Use precision measuring devices to check quality of work. /n -
Safely rigs structure and material for movement by overhead crane.
/n - Responsible for maintaining a clean work area both during and
at the end of each work shift. /n - Follows all safety policies and
company-wide safety requirements; encourages action assuring safe
behavior; confronts unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and
positively. /n - Conducts himself/herself in a considerate,
professional, cooperative and helpful manner toward fellow
employees, customers, vendors and visitors. /n - Complies with all
company policies and procedures. /n /n What you know: You have a
High School Diploma or GED, preferred and: /n - 1 year of
professional experience related to manufacturing preferred /n -
Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and
calipers required /n - Demonstrated ability to read blueprints
preferred. /n - Experience using industrial machines preferred. /n
- Forklift operation certification preferred. /n - Overhead crane
experience preferred /n - Demonstrates proficiency in one or more
of the following equipment: radial drills, fin tube machinery,
large vertical band saw, presses, breaks and shears. /n /n Physical
and Environmental Factors: Physical Requirements (lifting,
climbing, standing, equipment use): /n - Stands or walks 70% of
workday. /n - Required to have visual acuity to operate motor
vehicles and/or heavy equipment. /n - Regularly exert up to 50 lbs
of force occasionally: 30 lbs of force frequently /n - Lifting raw
materials, assemblies, and equipment using lifts, or manually up to
50 lbs /n - An overhead crane will be used for items over 50lbs. /n
- Individuals will be climbing ladders, bending squatting and using
many mechanic type of tools. /n - Mobility & Posture: Standing,
walking, crouching, stooping, kneeling, and balancing on varied
surfaces /n - Manual Dexterity: Reaching, grasping, pushing,
pulling, and lifting objects using upper body strength /n - Fine
Motor Skills: Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and
fingers for precision tasks /n - Communication: Clear verbal
expressions and active listening to convey and receive detailed
instructions /n - Sensory Abilities: Adequate hearing to
distinguish sounds and spoken communication in a work environment
/n /n Environmental Factors (hazardous materials, work location,
work surfaces, exposure): /n - Must wear PPE: steel toe boots,
safety glasses, and ear plugs /n - Exposure to outdoor weather,
extreme heat or cold, loud noise, and vibration /n - Work near
hazards: moving machinery, vehicles, electrical currents, and
chemicals /n - Encounter atmospheric conditions: fumes, dust,
gases, odors, and poor ventilation /n - Operate in confined spaces
such as narrow aisles or passageway /n - The noise level in the
