Custodial and Maintenance Assistant is responsible for supporting
the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean,
and functional environment. This role involves performing routine
maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and providing assistance to the
facilities management team. The ideal candidate is proactive,
detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks
efficiently. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • General maintenance of
building including but not limited to: o Carpentry, painting,
plumbing, weed maintenance, parking lot • General building repairs
including but not limited to: o Lights, locks, windows, doors,
walls, floors, gutters, drains o Serve as contact with building
landlord • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the facility,
including restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces • Coordinate
daily/weekly forklift maintenance • Adhere to all OSHA building
requirements • Maintain 5S implementation throughout the building •
Schedule service requests with outside vendors as needed •
Coordinate site services with vendors onsite • Procure materials
needed for facilities as needed o Expenditures over $500.00 will
require prior management authorization o Able to drive company
vehicle to purchase needed material. • Procure and Maintain stock
levels of PPE equipment for the departments • Monitor garbage
levels and schedule pickups accordingly • Empty Trash cans as
needed • Organize storage areas, cabinets & closets • Maintain
accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs • Maintain
Safe environment, reporting all hazards or unsafe work practices •
Assist daily with general janitorial clean ups, both inside and
outside of the building. Schedule provided by management.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proven
experience in a maintenance or facilities role. • Ability to use
hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Strong
problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good
communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. •
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, stand, and walk
for extended periods. Physical Demands: The physical demands

employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this

carry, push and or pull up to 50-70 lbs. occasionally, Lift, carry,
push, or pull 20 Ibs. frequently. • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop,
twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently. • Must
be able to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time. Skills

Pittsburg, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits
and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
