Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lead - EMEA Wunderman Thompson EMEA is seeking a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead to join our People team & be responsible for ensuring DE&I is a core element of our business strategy. Partnering with the Chief People Officer EMEA & the Global Chief DE&I Officer in the US (along with other key stakeholders) the objective will be to ensure employees of all backgrounds and beliefs can come together for the common purpose of seeing the company succeed both locally and regionally. Additionally, this role is essential in helping to ensure the work we deliver to clients is diverse and inclusive. You will champion and bring to life the Wunderman Thompson behaviors of Listening, In It Together, Creative Bravery and Positivity across Wunderman Thompson's EMEA offices. What you'll be doing

  • Create - Develop a DE&I strategy for the organization that reflects the environment we want for our people and the growth we want for our clients and our communities globally. Develop and communicate efforts to inculcate the diversity strategy to the internal and external stakeholder communities, influencing and guiding senior staff and DE&I experts regionally.
  • Strategic Advisor - Audit and make recommendations on policies and internal process to ensure they are equitable and inclusive for underrepresented groups in our organization.--Provide strategic direction for the development of the right tools, techniques, and training including ensuring that diversity and inclusion training is tailored for each local market objectives.--Oversee the DE&I budget to ensure all spending is in line with annual allocations.
  • Council - Work with the Global D&I council and make recommendations to local markets on strategies and initiatives. Identify, optimize and amplify best practices related to succession planning, making sure DE&I is an intentional component across Wunderman Thompson.
  • Partner - Partner with our People team to help identify, optimize and amplify best practices related to succession planning, making sure DE&I is an intentional component across Wunderman Thompson.
  • Client work - Craft language for use in RFPs that showcases Wunderman Thompsons positioning and dedication to DE&I as it relates to its people, our clients and our communities. Assess current supplier diversity programs already in place, optimize and amplify across Wunderman Thompson for the betterment of client relationships and business. Who we're looking for
    • A passion for DE&I--work--and a demonstrated awareness and understanding of diversity in all its facets including--cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation, linguistic, professional,--ability, veteran status--and other differences that make us unique.
    • Demonstrated experience and desire--to build--a culture of belonging in the workplace.
    • 10+ years of experience with at least 5 in a senior management role and while not necessary, European experience and an appreciation for different cultures is preferred.
    • Strong business acumen and good judgment.
    • An ability to lead as a change agent with a strong drive for growth and a results-driven mindset.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization.
